ASim 2016

Welcome!! We sincerely invite you to attend the 3rd Asia conference of International Building Performance Simulation Association - ASim2016, held on November, 27-29, 2016 in Jeju(Cheju) island, Korea. This biennial conference will provide a platform for professionals, consultants, designers, engineers and students exchanging ideas, knowledge and information about building performance simulation. ASim 2016 program will include keynote speeches, technical sessions and poster presentations discussing all aspects of building performance simulation. We are looking forward to seeing you in Jeju(Cheju) island(UNESCO World Natural Hertage Site).

Payment by Paypal for Korean participants

We found that Paypal sometimes causes an payment authorization problem for Korean participants.
To avoid such problem, we kindly recommend Korean participants to pay the registration fee by bank transfer if possible.

Accommodation reservation

• We feel very sorry that we were told today (Oct. 22) from the venue that all rooms at the venue are sold out in the nights of Nov 24, 25 and 26. The reservation confirmation has been made based on “first-come, first served”. However, we were told that 20 rooms are still available in the nights of Nov 27, 28, 29 and 30.
• Please note that breakfast is not included in the accommodation price.

The deadline of full papers is extended to Aug 10, 2016.

Full paper instructions

• The deadline for a draft version of a full paper is July 29, 2016.
• You can choose your presentation type (oral, poster) when you submit your full paper at the conftool website (https://www.conftool.com/asim2016/). However, your presentation type can be changed by ASim 2016 organizing committee for session allocation.
• An oral presentation will be 15 minutes long, 10 minutes reserved for PowerPoint presentation and 5 minutes for questions/answers and a changeover to the next speaker.
• Poster format is A1 size (594 mm * 841 mm). Each presenter should bring his/her poster printout to the conference.

Click the link to submit an abstract. Abstracts should have a maximum length of 300 words.

Abstract acceptance notification

Dear ASIM 2016 authors,

I feel very sorry that the abstract review notification has been delayed.
Each abstract is being reviewed by two examiners and hopefully the review process is going to be done by June 4.

Then, the abstract review result will be notified to each corresponding author in the week of June 6.

I am sorry again for the delay and thank you for your contribution to ASIM 2016.
